Account Manager

The Account Manager is the primary project and relationship manager for LGE’s clients. The role carries the operational responsibility for service delivery to our clients within the scope of services agreed. The Account Manager will create trusted relationships which develop into strategic partnerships. .

Reports To:          Account Management Team Leader
Salary Range:     £30,000-£38,000 + Commission (Depending on experience)
Location:              Manchester OR Blackpool OR Remote

Duties and Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as main contact for LGE’s corporate clients.
  • Ensure all contracted services are delivered.
  • Establish where value can be added and implement.
  • Manage all departments’ client deliverables.
  • Keeping track of complex queries via query system, effectively managing them across the organisation.
  • Assist in the development of best practice across the Account Management function.
  • Identify opportunities and upsell LGE’s services where required.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Support colleagues and work to employ best practice across the business

Account Executive

LGE is looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships and turning them into long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction. The ideal applicant will have proven experience in a sales or client service role, as well as energy market knowledge.

Reports To:          Account Management Team Leader
Salary Range:     £25,000-£29,000 + Commission (Depending on experience)
Location:              Manchester OR Blackpool OR Remote

Duties and Key Responsibilities
  • Management of the clients site list to ensure that it remains current and correct
  • Initial contact of customers explaining the process, product, deliverables and timescales.
  • Agreeing and maintaining site lists working with clients.
  • Securing customer signatures.
  • Contacting relevant departments to set up servicing the contract Reporting, Trading, Validation.
  • Contacting customers on a regular basis and ensuring reports are being received/understood.
  • Ensuring that KPI’s are adhered to.
  • Cross selling where appropriate.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required.

Server & Systems Administrator

LGE is looking for a Server & Systems Administrator to join our growing Innovation team. The role involves administration of SQL Server, alongside development of SQL Database and wider systems/process development and systems data management and improvement, concentrating specifically in quality, change control and deployment.

Reports To:          Innovation and Development Team Leader
Salary Range:     TBC based on experience
Location:             Manchester

Duties and Key Responsibilities
  • Utilise best practice to implement the daily Server administration duties ensuring the server and database maintain optimal performance levels.
  • Ensure strict controls are implemented to reduce risk and increase resilience.
  • Deliver a comprehensive and cohesive disaster recovery plan
  • Ensure data sources are optimised for efficiency, capacity, reliability, resilience & accuracy.
  • Develop, test, deploy systems developments, concentrated around the SQL Server Database, but not limited to this.
  • Development of Excel, Access, VBA and T-SQL.
  • Support the business with process and systems improvements.
  • Engage with departments to ascertain user requirements.
  • Support Team Members and act as a mentor in areas of expertise.
  • Remain abreast of technological advances and recommend any suitable developments.

Bids Executive

Reports To:          Head of Bids & Marketing
Salary Range:     £20,000-£25,000
Location:             Manchester

LGE is looking for a Bid Executive to join our Bids and Marketing Team. Reporting to the Head of Bids, the successful candidate will be responsible for writing proposals, drafting tender responses and producing marketing materials. While previous Bids experience would be beneficial, full training will be provided for the right candidate. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to build relationships, work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.

Duties and Key Responsibilities
  • Responding to bid and tender requests.
  • Co-ordinate all parties involved in the bid process to ensure everyone is aware of the level of contribution expected and when the deadlines are.
  • Prepare appropriate information on products/ services.
  • Calculate cost to run and liaise with relevant teams to create pricing
  • Review of draft tenders and effecting improvement.
  • Create/edit proposals & invitation to tenders within required timescales.
  • Obtaining feedback from purchasers when tenders are unsuccessful in order to improve in the future.
  • Write marketing materials and articles for LinkedIn and company website

Field Sales Executive

LGE is always on the lookup for Field Sales Executives to join our growing Sales Team. A sound knowledge and experience of the energy industry is paramount along with knowledge of energy reduction will be advantageous. Mobile phone/laptop/car allowance will be provided. Must have clean driver’s license and be able to travel around the UK. LGE will seriously consider all applicants with proven energy sales background. LGE will also consider applicants with Account Management experience in the energy industry with no sales experience but who have the drive and tendency to bring new business.

Reports To:          Director of Corporate Sales
Salary Range:     Negotiable
Location:             Remote

Duties and Key Responsibilities
  • Representing LGE’s procurement solutions to clients throughout a designated territory.
  • Prospect potential customers based on provided criteria or self-booked sales meetings.
  • Managing own time and resources.
  • Responsibility for new business and cross selling in order to assess client’s sites.
  • Developing bespoke procurement solutions.
  • Complete tenders.
  • Present at board level in order to secure contracts.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new customers.
